In March Jimmy Wanma, myself and postgrads from Universitas Papua established a forest plot and collected plants around Sausapor, Papua Barat Dhaya.

Here sea level forests ascend to the Tambrauw mountain peaks.

Much of the lowland is logging concession and as such it is super important to survey and identify what might be lost. This is the first step to designating Sausapor as a Tropical Important Plant Area.
